[Solved] Bug in Saturnflashconfig.exe

Hello Gabor, Thanks for reporting this issue. We have not updated the Saturn configuration tool yet to comply with FTDI's TN_152 technical note. We will fix this in priority and release a new executable. I will update the progress in this thread.

Hello Gabor, We have tested the Saturn Configuration Tool on close to a dozen machines but unfortunately could not reproduce the bug. On every single machine, the hardware was detected and we were able to program SPI Flash. One of the machines did have USB3 Port and Windows 7 installed on (all other machines were Win8). There is a possibility that we are looking in to is whether Windows 7 configured the USB3 hardware in to USB2 mode. In that case, even though hardware is USB3 capable, we won't be able to reproduce this issue. We will look at this possibility in the next couple of days. If we are still unable to reproduce this issue, we may have to ask your help to do further debug. As far as I can see, even if this issue exists, it would affect only a very very small number of cases. We will post more info here as available.

Hi Gabor, We have made some changes to the configuration application so that it does not depend on the libMPSSE SPI library. At least one customer has confirmed that he is able to see Saturn with this new tool where he was not able to detect Saturn with the old tool (that used libMPSSE SPI). Attaching a beta version so you can give it a try. There is a known issue with this build that download sometimes fail. But on the brighter side, this tool is much faster than the old one.
